Why You Should Visit Bingin Beach, Bali

With soft white stand, sparkling turquoise waters and mesmerising views over the Indian Ocean, Bingin has all the ingredients of a picture perfect beach. Located in tiny Pecatu Village, just half an hour from the airport, it’s widely regarded as one of the most famous surfing spots in Bali. A world away from the concert jungle. Both intermediate and professional surfers travel from all over the world to get a hefty slice of the constant reef break.

If adrenaline fuelled sports aren’t your thing, Bingin has plenty more to offer. You can spend the day sunbathing with a tasty mango smoothie, take a yoga class in the afternoon and have sunset swim to watch the sky burn out. There’s plenty of accommodation to cater for every budget and many guesthouses are situated just metres from the bay, boasting incredible sea views. The journey down to Bingin isn’t easy though… it’s a steep climb down hidden cliff face stairs but for this little nook of paradise, it’s so worth it.
